Support us financially
Everyday Mormon Writer is run entirely by a volunteer staff and our web hosting costs are minimal, so your donations serve primarily to help us sponsor contests.
In a well-organized writing contest, a little money helps motivate the creation of a lot of quality work. A prize like a Kindle and some eBooks costs only about $100, but can result in the creation of hundreds of unique and engaging short works. We’d like to be able put some money where our mouth is when we go to our Soapbox and call for, say works about being LDS in Asia or for works that attempt to communicate the feeling of the sacred. Please consider contributing: every $10 or $20 brings us a big step closer to the next contest.
Support us as a volunteer
Ultimately, we’d like to be publishing a new piece every weekday. That means we need as many people as possible to submit their work.
It also means that we need help doing the first-round readings of those works. If you’re willing to rate a batch of 10, 20, or 30 submissions per month, please contact us at everydaymormonwriter at gmail dot com. First-round readers are still eligible to submit their own works.
